A principios de la d\u00e9cada de 1920, hab\u00eda varios propietarios \/ operadores de jitney independientes en la ciudad de Waterbury. En 1925, para sobrevivir en una era de creciente competencia y regulaciones gubernamentales, los propietarios de jitney decidieron trabajar juntos y formaron North East Transportation Company, Inc. (NET)<\/p>\n\n

La Compa\u00f1\u00eda de Connecticut, habiendo sido completamente un ferrocarril urbano, se estaba convirtiendo en autocares y en 1937 todos los \"carros\" el\u00e9ctricos hab\u00edan sido reemplazados por autobuses a motor. En julio de 2000, la Compa\u00f1\u00eda comenz\u00f3 a operar servicios de paratr\u00e1nsito ADA y no ADA en el \u00e1rea metropolitana de Waterbury, as\u00ed como servicios fuera de la ruta \/ fuera del horario laboral bajo el programa de asistencia social al trabajo de la Ciudad.
